And from a continuous improvement standpoint, every meeting is an opportunity to get better. But the great thing about working virtually, unless it's highly confidential, you can videotape yourself in every meeting. Go back and watch and always ask the group for feedback. So when you do that Plus Delta, because landing the plane is the other place we get a lot of plane crashes - take off and landing.
It's a continuous improvement process both at the meeting level because I want feedback on what worked and what didn't work. I also want feedback on my leadership. And if I don't ask for it I won't get it. Why guess because I don't want people talking about how ineffective I am outside of the meeting, I'd rather know it so I can course correct. This is a path to more effective leadership.
